"Rani ki Vav" (Queen Stepwell) which is a very famous and ancient stepwell located in Patan district of Gujarat. Rani ki Vav (Stepwell) was built in the year 1063 in the memory of King Bhimdev I of Solanki rule by his wife, Queen Udayamati. Rani ki Vav is 64 meters long, 20 meters wide and 27 meters deep.

Lakhs of people come here every year from abroad. Most of the carvings on the walls and pillars of Rani ki Vav are dedicated to Lord Vishnu in various forms of avatars like Rama, Vamana, Mahishasuramardini, etc. Rani Ki Vav stepwell is pictured on ₹100 INR note by RBI (Reserve Bank of India) in July 2018. Modhera Sun Temple, located in a village called Modhera in Mehsana district of Gujarat, is one of the most famous and historical temples of Gujarat. This temple was built in AD 1026-1027 by King Bhimdev I of the Solanki dynasty. There are three main parts of this temple complex – Gudhamandapa (main temple), Sabhamandapa and Kunda (reservoir). Very fine carvings have been done on the outer part and pillars of its mandapas. Lord Suryadev is worshiped in this temple. It is considered one of the most beautiful temples of Gujarat.
