Sri Harimandir Sahib is the most sacred religious place or the most prominent Gurdwara of Sikhs, also known as Darbar Sahib or Golden Temple. It is located in the city of Amritsar in the Indian state of Punjab and is the biggest attraction here. The entire Amritsar city is situated around the Golden Temple. Jallianwala Bagh
is a small garden near the Golden Temple in Amritsar, where on 13 April 1919, British forces under the leadership of Brigadier General Reginald Edward Dyer opened fire, killing hundreds of people including unarmed, quiet old men, women and children, and thousands more. People were injured. If any one event had the greatest impact on the Indian freedom struggle, then it was this heinous massacre. A memorial has been built here in memory of this incident.

In this monument, a tower has been built in the form of a flame where the names of the martyrs are inscribed. There is also the well in which people jumped to escape the firing. Bullet marks can still be seen on the walls. Now thousands of people come here, now it has become a tourist and historical place.

The Harike Wetland, also known as "Hari-ke-Pattan", with Harike Lake in its deepest part, is the largest wetland in northern India bordering Tarn Taran Sahib district and Firozpur district in the state of Punjab in India.

The wetland and the lake were created in 1953 by the construction of headworks across the Sutlej River. The headworks is situated below the confluence of the Beas and the Sutlej.
